Arts / Humanities
Promoting the arts and humanities is an important part of Rekindle the Spirit’s mission. The Arts & Humanities committee provides a wide variety of programs and activities, by drawing on the rich cultural heritage and the enormous individual talents available in the surrounding area. Many activities are hands-on or demonstrations in the fields of traditional art, crafts, music, literature, theater, media arts and folk art. By making these art and music-related activities available we can supplement the area’s school programs and instill an appreciation for the resources in our communities. We encourage other groups to work with us on projects at the wonderful setting of the Manley-Bohlayer house.
